Pa and sons fall in drug sting

A 59-year-old father and his two sons were arrested following a police anti-narcotics operation evening of Feb 17, 2023 in City Proper district, Iloilo City.
Police identified the suspects as Roger Sabado and his sons Romar, 35, and Dexter, 28, all residents of Barangay Hipodromo, City Proper.
The family of three yielded 10 sachets of suspected shabu worth P13,600 and the P2,500 marked money.
Captain Mavin Laraño, Iloilo City Police Station 1 chief, said the trio was placed under police surveillance for around a month before they were finally busted.
They allegedly operate in the City Proper district and sourced their supply from within the metropolis.
A case for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs of 2002) will be filed against them.
