BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental over the weekend.
Last Saturday, Mariel Paslon, 28, of Barangay Buluangan was caught for alleged sale and possession of dangerous drugs in the said village, a report from the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) said.
Police recovered from Paslon four sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,440, P1,000, and P1,000 marked money.
The following day, Joemarie Babor, 35, of Barangay 5 was apprehended in the said village after he allegedly yielded 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000, police said.
According to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental, Babor is included in the top 10 provincial target list.
Drug charges are being readied against the two alleged drug suspects.
