P660K worth of illegal drugs seized, high-value drug suspect nabbed in Estancia drug bust

Iloilo City – A 22-year-old alias “Ferlyn”, a helper, and a resident of Estancia Iloilo, was arrested with approximately 97 grams of suspected shabu, with a Standard Drug Price of PHP659,600.00 during an anti-illegal drugs buy-bust operation at Brgy. Sta. Ana, Estancia, Iloilo at around 09:23 PM of July 23, 2025.

Seized during the operation were five (5) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu; buy-bust money; one (1) black sling bag; and other non-drug items.

The buy-bust operation was a joint effort of the Estancia Municipal Police Station (MPS) and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU Team 3).

POLICE BRIGADIER GENERAL JOSEFINO D LIGAN, Police Regional Office 6 top cop lauded the operatives for the successful operation.

“I congratulate everyone at Estancia MPS and PDEU Team 3 for this accomplishment. Let us continue to do our job and put those illegal drug traders behind bars,” said PBGEN LIGAN.

The arrested person is now in police custody for the proper disposition of her case.
