BACOLOD City – An estimated P510,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from three persons in two separate buy-bust operations here last Tuesday.
The Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU)-6 conducted the first operation, with Police Station 8 at Henrieta village, Barangay Singcang-Airport past 4 p.m.
Police identified the suspect as Samuel Talaman, 32, of the said village, a construction worker.
Recovered by police from him were 30 grams of suspected shabu worth P204,000, the P15,000 marked money, a gun replica without magazine, and a cellular phone.
In the evening, RDEU operatives along with personnel of Police Station 6 arrested Jim Estacio, 30, of Barangay Granada, and Nico Calates, 33, of Barangay Alijis, in a drug bust at Barangay Taculing past 9 p.m.
Police confiscated from them 45 grams of suspected shabu worth P306,000, and the P20,000 marked money.
The three suspects will be facing drug charges.
