P50,000 lost as fire razes beauty parlor

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Around P50,000 worth of property went up in smoke when a fire gobbled a beauty parlor Monday afternoon in the public market of Dumarao, Capiz.
No one was injured in the incident that occurred on the second floor of the town’s public market.
FO3 Ryan Advincula of Dumarao Fire Station said they have yet to establish the cause of the fire that occurred around 1pm.
According to Hilbert Pedrigosa, caretaker of the establishment, he went out for a moment to charge his cellphone in the charging station located on the ground floor as the beauty parlor had no electricity supply.
He said was surprised when somebody informed him about the conflagration in the parlor.
Pedrigosa believed that somebody intentionally set the beauty parlor on fire.
The fire was quelled at around 2pm.
