BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) and Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) arrested 21 persons and seized P467,800 worth of narcotics in anti-illegal drug operations from Dec 11 to 15, 2019.
More or less P253,800 worth of suspected shabu were seized in the province while P214,000 worth of suspected shabu and suspected marijuana were recovered here in the past five days.
Bacolod police conducted the operations at Barangays 1, 13, 26, Taculing, Vista Alegre, and Villamonte and arrested 10 persons.
The arrested individuals here are detained at Police Stations 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
Operations in the province were conducted in the cities of Himamaylan, Escalante, Sagay, Silay, Cadiz, Kabankalan, and Talisay; and towns of Ilog and Hinoba-an.
The biggest seizure was in Silay City, with 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P150,000 recovered after police raided the house of Debbie Orquia, 46, of Barangay Mambulac last December 13.
