BACOLOD City – Authorities seized P439,294 worth of suspected shabu last week apart from arresting 14 persons here and in Negros Occidental.
Police reports indicated that P313,894 worth of the seized drugs were confiscated in the province, while P125,400 worth of the same contraband was recovered here from December 13 to 19.
Five persons were arrested in Barangays 16, Vista Alegre, and Pahanocoy here.
The buy-bust operations were led by personnel of Police Stations 4, 5, 7, and 8.
The drug busts in the province were conducted in the towns of Cauayan and Calatrava, and cities of Silay, Talisay, and Himamaylan.
Policemen are preparing the drug charges for the arrested suspects.
