BACOLOD City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Occidental and local police here seized P406,000 worth of suspected shabu here and in Silay City, Negros Occidental on June 4, 2020.
PDEA operatives arrested Abraham Te at Barangay 12 here for possessing 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000, according to PDEA-Negros Occidental head Nicolas Gomez.
Also arrested that day at Corner Gatuslao St., North Capitol Road, Barangay 6 here were John Paul Ebro, 30; and Mary Glo Binueza, 34, both residents of Barangay Mansilingan here; and Wence Uy, 22, of Barangay 40 here.
Personnel of Police Station 2 confiscated from the suspects nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing 15 grams and valued at P135,000, the P2,000 marked money, P1,000 cash, drug paraphernalia, and a Toyota Wigo.
Ebro and Uy were identified as street level individuals, police records showed.
In Silay City, Mateo Jamili, 48, of Barangay Mambulac, was arrested for possessing nine grams of suspected shabu worth P135,000.
Police also recovered a lighter, P50 cash, P3,000 boodle or fake money, and the P500 marked money.
Drug charges are being readied against the suspects.
