P350,200 worth of ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-6 Special Enforcement Team arrested a high-value target in a buy-bust at Purok Cheriza 1, Barangay 27 here last Wednesday.

The drug sting resulted in the arrest of Elena Quiman.

PDEA operatives confiscated from her about 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000.

Meanwhile, personnel of Police Station 1 also arrested three persons in a drug bust at Purok Malipayon, Barangay 12 here last Thursday.

Police identified the suspects as Pascual Jaranilla, 42, of Barangay 12, a street level individual; Jefred Demafelis, 40, of Barangay 10; and Dulceña Posecion, 29, of Barangay Sum-ag.

Police recovered from the suspects 11 sachets of suspected shabu worth P10,200, the P500 marked money, and other drug paraphernalia.
