BACOLOD City – Reform or be arrested soon.
This was the warning to drug personalities of Police Lieutenant Colonel Mark Anthony Darroca, newly designated police chief of Silay City Police Station in Negros Occidental.
“Gaan ta sila chance na mag bag-o pero kung indi, dakpon sila or otherwise,” Darroca said Thursday.
In his first few days in the city, Darroca has already conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Mambulac, where 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P349,000 was seized last Wednesday.
Police arrested Arvin Delos Reyes, 39, of the said village, who is an alleged drug personality in the city.
Darroca said that Delos Reyes is a high value individual, adding that the subject reportedly gets his supply of illegal drugs in Bacolod.
Also recovered from Delos Reyes were a plastic straw filler and the P600 marked money.
Darroca said that drug charges are being readied against Delos Reyes, who is detained at Silay City Police Station.
