BACOLOD City – An estimated P349,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in three separate buy-bust operations here over the weekend.
Arrested yesterday at Barangay Banago was Michael Peñoso after he allegedly yielded three sachets of suspected shabu weighing 12 grams worth P180,000, and the P500 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 3.
Last Saturday, John Rey Millendez, 29, of Barangay 40; and Honesto Adera, 41, of Barangay Taculing were arrested at Barangay 40.
Police confiscated from them six sachets of suspected shabu weighing 10 grams worth P150,000, the P500 marked money, and P500 cash.
Millendez is a high value target and was recently released after availing plea bargaining, police records showed.
Both suspects are detained at Police Station 2.
Also arrested that day at Barangay Pahanocoy was Norberto Geva.
Authorities seized from him eight sachets of suspected shabu worth P19,000, and the P200 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 8.
