BACOLOD City – Police seized P319,159 worth of suspected shabu from 25 persons in a buy-bust here and in Negros Occidental from June 2 to 10.
For Bacolod, P151,200 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated, while P167,959 worth of the same contraband was recovered in the province.
The drug bust operations here were conducted in Barangays 2, 4, Banago, Villamonte, and Pahanocoy, that resulted in the apprehension of seven persons.
The operations were led by the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), and Police Stations 4, 5, and 8.
For the province, 18 persons were arrested in the cities of Silay, Talisay, San Carlos, Bago, Cadiz, Sagay, Victorias, and La Carlota, and the towns of E.B. Magalona, Calatrava, Murcia, La Castellana, Isabela, and Cauayan.
