BACOLOD City – The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Negros Oriental seized about PHP3.4-million worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust at Barangay Banilad, Dumaguete City last Monday.
PDEA identified the subject as Ronald Japon, 37, of Barangay Mangnao. He was categorized as a high value target.
The illegal drugs weighing about 500 grams was believed to be delivered in the city through a courier firm.
Recovered by PDEA agents during the operation were six sachets of suspected shabu, sling bag, receipts of a remittance firm, driver’s license, a motorcycle, and PHP100,000 marked money.
The suspect will be facing charges for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
