P295,510 worth of ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – Fifteen persons, including a minor, were arrested while an estimated P295,510 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate drug bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from April 11 to 19.

The bulk of the said drug recovery was reported in the province, with the confiscation of P268,510 worth of the said contraband from 14 persons.

The buy-bust operations were conducted in the cities of Cadiz, Silay, Talisay, La Carlota, Kabankalan, Himamaylan, Sagay, and Victorias, and the towns of La Castellana, Murcia, and San Enrique.

For Bacolod, a man was arrested in a drug bust at Barangay Singcang-Airport last Monday.

Personnel of Police Station 8 recovered P27,000 worth of suspected shabu from the suspect.
