P272,000 worth of ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested in a buy-bust at Barangay Alijis here last Wednesday.
Police identified the suspects as subject Joel Alma, 33, and his companion Matts Ericson Pastrana, 30, both residents of Barangay 6, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Authorities confiscated from them eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing 40 grams worth P272,000, the P1,000 marked money, motorcycle, and P450.
Alma is said to be a street level individual, according to the police.
Both suspects are detained at Police Station 7.
Meanwhile, police also arrested a 25-year-old man at around 3:30 a.m. at Barangay Pahanocoy here yesterday for violating the curfew hours.
Police seized from him a sachet of suspected shabu worth P500, and an improvised tooter.
