P268,600 worth of ‘shabu’ seized

BACOLOD CITY – Six persons were arrested by police in separate buy-bust operations that yielded a total of 268,600 worth of suspected shabu in Negros Occidental last Monday.
The operations included the apprehension of two persons in Barangay 6, Victorias City, which resulted in the confiscation of 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000.
Police also recovered from them the P500 marked money and an improvised tooter.
In Silay City, a 45-year-old restaurant crew was also arrested for the confiscation of 16 grams of suspected shabu worth P108,800 in Barangay Guinhalaran.
The suspect allegedly sold a shabu to a police agent for P3,200. He is a street level individual, according to the police.
The other drug bust operations were also conducted in the cities of La Carlota and Cadiz.
