BACOLOD City – Around P255,800 worth of suspected shabu was seized in separate buy-bust operations here from June 2 to 8.
On June 2, Redentor Madera, 60, of Barangay Mansilingan was arrested at Barangay Singcang-Airport for the alleged possession of two grams of suspected shabu worth P12,000, and the P200 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 8.
The following day, Stephen Paloma, 27, of Barangay Taculing was apprehended at the said village after he allegedly yielded 11 sachets of suspected shabu worth P13,600, and the marked money. He is detained at Police Station 6.
Also arrested that day at Barangay Banago was John Arenal, 19, of the said village.
Police seized from him six sachets of suspected shabu and the marked money. He is detained at Police Station 4.
Three days later, Cirmar Deduyo, 29; and Mark Lyster Ganancial, 26, both residents of Barangay 3 were arrested last Sunday at Barangay 4.
Recovered by operatives of Police Station 5 from them were two sachets of suspected shabu worth P50,000.
Last Monday, the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) arrested Alvin Tanoy, 24, of Barangay Tangub.
Police confiscated from him 11 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 20 grams worth P136,000, and the P500 marked money.
According to the police, Tanoy is a street level individual. He is detained at Police Station 8.
Joshua Arroyo, 28, of Barangay Alijis here; and Joselito Dagatan Jr., 22, of Barangay Taculing here were arrested yesterday at Barangay Pahanocoy.
Police recovered from them 1.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P10,200, and the P200 marked money.
Both suspects are detained at Police Station 8.
