BACOLOD City – An estimated P239,300 worth of suspected shabu was seized in four separate buy-bust operations here from April 12 to 14.
In Barangay Alijis, James Andrew Estañol, 34, and Jury Jaype, 36, both residents of Barangay Singcang-Airport here were arrested by the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) and Police Station 7 Wednesday.
Police recovered from the two suspects 18 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 30 grams of P204,000, the P40,000 marked money, and a motorcycle.
Also on that day, Arjie Jumaway, 24, of Barangay 40 was arrested at the said village after police confiscated from him eight sachets of suspected shabu worth P10,200, and the P500 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 6.
Also arrested that day at Barangay Estefania was Carlo Alojado, 23, of the said village, after he allegedly yielded seven sachets of suspected shabu worth P15,000, and the P300 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 5.
On April 12, Junmar Yanson, 20, of Barangay 3 was arrested at the said village.
Police seized from him four sachets of suspected shabu worth P10,100, and the P500 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 8.
