BACOLOD City – An estimated P210,800 worth of suspected shabu was seized in Negros Occidental over the weekend.
In La Carlota City, Edgardo Flores, 59, of Barangay 1, was arrested in a drug bust at the said village last Saturday for the recovery of three grams of suspected shabu worth P20,400, and the P500 marked money.
Also arrested that day in a buy-bust at Barangay 1, San Carlos City was Edwina Ardaban, 35, of Barangay Rizal.
Police confiscated from her 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000, P500, and P14,000 boodle money and marked money.
On that same day, police also seized two grams of suspected shabu worth P13,600 in a buy-bust at Barangay 5, San Carlos City. But their subject escaped.
In Binalbagan town, Mark Cabalfin, 27, of Barangay Teodoro was arrested at Barangay
San Pedro last Saturday, after he allegedly yielded P4,080 worth of suspected shabu, the P500 marked money, and P500.
In Bago City, Jessa Rodriguez, 25, of Barangay Ma-ao, was apprehended at Barangay Balingasag.
Police recovered from her P2,720 worth of the said contraband, the P500 marked money, and P907.
