BACOLOD City – Police continue to conduct anti-drug war operations which resulted in the seizure of P200,600 worth of suspected shabu here and in Negros Occidental from January 3 to 6.
In Bacolod, P142,800 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated while four persons were arrested in Barangays 8 and Alijis.
The biggest drug haul this week was reported in Barangay Alijis on Jan. 5 which led in the arrest of 36-year-old man who allegedly yielded 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000.
Police Captain Elmer Bonilla, head of Police Station 7, said the suspect was previously jailed for carnapping.
For the province, P57,800 worth of the said contraband was recovered from eight persons in the cities of Bago, San Carlos, and Silay, and the town of Ilog.
