BACOLOD City – A man tagged as a street-level individual was arrested for allegedly possessing 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000 in a buy-bust operation at Henrietta Village, Barangay Singcang Airport here last Thursday.
The subject was identified as Kimber John Garces, 28, of the said village.
Police Major Joery Puerto, head of Police Station 8, said that Garces is on the station’s drugs watchlist.
“Sang una tingi-tingi lang iya baligya asta nag damo na customers niya especially sini na MassKara Festival,” Puerto said.
Puerto said the seized illegal drugs might be allocated for the festivity here.
Garces allegedly sourced the illegal drugs in Barangay Banago here.
He then allegedly distributes it to his customers in the public plaza, Barangay 35 here, and Barangay Singcang-Airport, according to Puerto.
Police also confiscated from the suspect the P500 marked money.
Charges for the sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs will be filed against Garces.
