BACOLOD CITY – Twenty-five grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000 were seized by police from a 31-year-old man in a buy-bust operation at Purok Cheriza 1, Barangay 27, last Friday.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Bandio” of the said village.
According to the police, the suspect allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police agent for P500.
Police Captain Francis Depasucat, head of Police Station 4, said the suspect was tagged as a newly-identified street-level individual.
Depasucat stated that it took them almost two months to monitor the suspect, who was unemployed.
Police received information about his alleged illegal activity in the village, prompting them to verify the report.
The suspect was charged with the sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs yesterday, according to Depasucat.
