BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested in a buy-bust at Barangay Cabug here last Saturday.
Police identified the suspects as Analie Baldevieso, 36; and Glenn Paul Castillo, 42, both residents of the said village.
Police said both suspects were considered as street level individuals.
Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) confiscated seven sachets of suspected shabu from Baldevieso, while a sachet of suspected shabu was recovered from Castillo.
The recovered illegal drugs weighed 23 grams worth P156,800.
The arrested suspects are detained at Police Station 9.
Meanwhile, a man was arrested after he allegedly carnapped a motorcycle owned by a policeman at Barangay Cabug last Friday.
Police identified the suspect as Michael Franco, 35, of Barangay Handumanan.
Confiscated from him was the stolen motorcycle owned by Police Staff Sergeant Antonietto Iwarata.
Also recovered from him during the body search were three sachets of suspected shabu and an improvised tooter.
He is detained at Police Station 9.
