The operation also led to the arrest of Ariel Callado, 23, a resident of Barangay Tanza-Esperanza, the area where the operation was conducted; and June Sison, a resident of Barangay Flores, City Proper district.
Both were considered street level pushers by authorities.
Members of the Iloilo City Police Office-City Drug Enforcement Unit (ICPO-CDEU) collared the suspects after they sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P30,000 around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
Seized from the duo were nine sachets of suspected shabu and two mobile phones.
Less than an hour before their arrest, another purported drug peddler was arrested at Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo, Iloilo City.
