ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Some P15,000 worth of properties were lost to a fire that razed a house made of light materials Sunday afternoon at Sitio Bato-Bato, in Brgy. Dulangan, Pilar, Capiz.
No one got injured when the house of couple Ernesto and Magdalena Demandante went up in smoke.
According to FO1 Emil Greg Billones of Pilar Municipal Fire Station, a neighbor noticed the conflagration that quickly gobbled the house.
Fortunately, the couple was not home when the fire broke out. But they believe that someone intentionally set their house afire.
The municipal government gave relief assistance to the victims.
