BACOLOD City – Five persons were arrested in separate buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental last Friday and Saturday.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA -6 Special Enforcement Team (Bravo) dismantled an alleged drug den at Purok Villasor, Barangay Handumanan here last Friday.
PDEA identified the alleged drug den maintainer as Peginito Miquit, while three others were allegedly caught during the operation inside the subject’s house.
They allegedly yielded five sachets of suspected shabu weighing 15 grams worth P45,000.
Also recovered from them were the P500 marked money, P290, drug paraphernalia, weighing scale, and other valuables.
The following day, a 49-year-old driver was also apprehended in Barangay Zone 10, Talisay City, which resulted in the confiscation of 15 grams of suspected shabu worth P102,000.
The suspect is the top 1 drug personality of Talisay City Police Station, police reports claimed.
