BACOLOD City – An estimated P140,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized in two separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental on June 27, 2019.
In Silay City, Eric Jamonong, 32, and Cyrus Ben Cezar, 35, both residents of Barangay Guinhalaran were arrested at the said village.
Police Major Rollie Pondevilla, city police chief, said Jamonong is on the target list of the city police station while Cezar is a newly-identified drug personality.
Recovered from them were 12 sachets of suspected shabu weighing six grams worth P90,000, a motorcycle, the P8,000 marked money, and drug paraphernalia.
In Kabankalan City, Elizalde Abellon Jr., 32, of Barangay 6; and Reynalyn Emejas, 22, of Barangay Talubangi were arrested at Barangay 3 for alleged possession of seven sachets of suspected shabu worth P50,000, drug paraphernalia, the P100 marked money, and the P1,500 cash.
Both suspects are detained at Kabankalan City Police Station.
