BACOLOD City – A man was arrested a day before his birthday after he allegedly yielded 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Alijis here last Thursday.
Police identified the subject as Zandro Velasco, 50, of the said village, a street-level individual.
Police Captain Elmer Bonilla, head of Police Station 7, said that Velasco was previously arrested for a drug offense but was later released through a plea bargain.
Also confiscated from him were the P500 marked money, and P3,420.
Bonilla said that Velasco will be charged for the sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs.
