BACOLOD City – An estimated P125,120 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated from six persons in separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental from Nov 6 to 10, 2020.
In Silay City, Rochelle Artagame, 18, of Barangay E. Lopez was collared at Barangay Rizal last Friday while her male companion fled.
Police recovered during the operation five grams of suspected shabu worth P34,000, a lighter, the P500 marked money, and boodle or fake money that was used in the sting operation.
Two days later, Angelo Martinez, a construction worker of Barangay Zone 3, Talisay City was apprehended at the said village.
Martinez yielded nine sachets of suspected shabu worth P23,800, the P500 marked money, and P1,470 cash.
The following day, Glen Raymond Gariando, 32, of Brgy. Zone 2, Talisay City was collared at Barangay 5, Silay City which resulted in the recovery of two grams of suspected shabu worth P13,600, the P500 marked money, boodle money, and a motorcycle.
Also arrested last Monday in Barangay Canroma, Pontevedra town was Agustilo Toledo, 38, of Barangay Miranda after he allegedly yielded six sachets of suspected shabu worth P6,120, and the P500 marked money.
On that same day in Kabankalan City, Ian Cornell, 48, of Barangay Binicuil was also nabbed for the same alleged offense.
Police seized from Cornell eight sachets of suspected shabu worth P13,600, the P100 marked money, and P580 cash.
In Talisay City, Elias Martinez, 52, of Barangay Zone 3 was arrested at the said village yesterday.
Police recovered from him 17 sachets of suspected shabu worth P34,000, drug paraphernalia, the P500 marked money, and P1,540 cash.
Martinez, a high value individual, is the No. 9 drug personality of Talisay City Police Station, police records showed.
