BACOLOD City – The drug haul in Negros Occidental continues.
About P107,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in three separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental in the past days.
In Silay City, Emmanuel Balogo, 37, of Barangay Guinhalaran was arrested last Thursday at the said village, after police recovered from him eight grams of suspected shabu worth P54,400, a lighter, a motorcycle, and P3,500 marked money.
Also arrested in Barangay Rizal in the said city on September 29 were Justin Lobaton, 19, and his partner Mecaila Robles, 21, both residents of the said village.
Police confiscated from the couple seven grams of suspected shabu worth P47,600, two lighters, P3,000 boodle money, and the P500 marked money.
In Victorias City, Joemer Dela Cruz, 36, and Wilfredo Dela Cruz, 61, both residents of Barangay 12 were arrested last Thursday, after they allegedly yielded P5,000 worth of suspected shabu, two improvised tooters, a digital weighing scale, the P400 marked money, P200, a pistol loaded with a 12 gauge cartridge, 2 live cartridges of 12 gauge, a pair of scissors, and two lighters.
All suspects will be facing drug charges.
