BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested while P1,907,808 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bagacay, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental yesterday.
Police arrested Jovic Calibo Nano, 24, of Siquijor, and Janjan Banaldia, 21, of Dumaguete City.
Both are considered high value individuals, according to the police.
Joint police operatives of Dumaguete City Drug Enforcement Unit, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, PNP Drug Enforcement Group, and Dumaguete Maritime Police Station, busted the two young men with 280.56 grams of suspected shabu.
Also confiscated from them were a digital weighing scale, a canister, a traveling bag, and the P2,000 marked money.
The two suspects, who have yet to be reached for comment, are detained at Dumaguete City Police Station for the filing of drug charges.
