ILOILO CITY—An alleged “bodegero” (warehouseman) of illegal drugs was arrested during a raid at his live-in partner’s house in Pavia, Iloilo, early Tuesday.
The suspect, identified as “Rodleiy,” 34, is a resident of Parc Regency, Barangay Balabag, Pavia.
Members of the Pavia Municipal Police Station, in coordination with the Iloilo Police Provincial Office – Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (IPPO-PDEU), served Search Warrant No. SW34-08-2024. The warrant was issued by Judge Ma. Yolanda Panaguiton-Gavino of Regional Trial Court Branch 34, Iloilo City.
Police recovered eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 200 grams, with an estimated street value of PHP 1,360,000. Several non-drug items were also seized.
Staff Sergeant Franklin Suizo, Pavia police investigator, said the arrest followed months of surveillance.
Rodleiy, a former Oplan Tokhang surrenderer in Pototan, Iloilo, had been staying at his live-in partner’s residence, which was owned by her sister.
Authorities described Rodleiy as elusive, with previous attempts to apprehend him through buy-bust operations proving unsuccessful. This led police to secure and execute the search warrant.
Follow-up operations are underway to track down the suspect’s alleged accomplices, Suizo added.
