ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The House of Representative has allocated P1.3 billion for the first congressional district of Capiz.
Capiz First District Rep. Emmanuel “Tawi” Billones Sr. hailed the fund allocation for 2020.
Billones most of the said budget will be allocated to infrastructure projects such as road concreting projects, bridge construction, bridge widening; flood control; barangay roads, farm to market roads, among others.
The budget for school buildings will be in a different allocation, he added.
He clarified that some projects that got delayed in 2018 and 2019 due to lack of funds will push through next year.
