BACOLOD City An estimated P1.2 million worth of purported shabu (crystal meth) was seized in a drug bust inside an inn at Barangay 2, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental Saturday night.
Police conducted the buy-bust operation against Evonie Bacurnay, 26, of Barangay Buluangan, who allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to a police agent for P500.
Bacurnay is a street level target drug personality, police records showed.
Police recovered from the suspect five sachets of suspected shabu weighing 100 grams, P16,000 boodle or fake money, and the P500 marked money.
Bacurnay is currently detained at San Carlos City Police Station.
