BACOLOD City – An estimated P1,185,050 worth of illegal drugs was seized in two separate villages in Silay City, Negros Occidental on Wednesday.
Personnel of Silay City Police Station conducted a buy-bust operation against Hero Pangilinan, 25, Michelle Baradia, 44, and John Stephen Soria, 21, all residents of Makati City, at Barangay E. Lopez around 9 p.m.
Police considered the three suspects as street level targets.
Recovered from them were 74 grams of suspected shabu worth 1,110,000, and P50 worth of suspected marijuana, the P12,500 marked money and boodle money, and drug paraphernalia.
Earlier that day, Elgie Gabayoyo, 34, of Barangay E. Lopez was also arrested after he was allegedly caught selling illegal drugs at Barangay 3.
Police seized from him five grams of suspected shabu worth P75,000, drug paraphernalia, the P500 marked money, and P70 cash.
Drug charges are being readied against the four suspects.
