ROXAS City, Capiz — Two houses were burned Saturday morning in Brgy. Manhoy Dao, Capiz.
Some P300,000 worth of properties went up in smoke after the fire gobbled the houses of Edgardo Frugalidad and Adelaida Estrellan.
No one was injured in the conflagration that was quelled around 10 a.m. Saturday.
Fire trucks from the towns of Dao, Dumalag, Cuartero, and Dumarao responded to the incident.
An overheated “washing machine” is believed to be the cause of the fire, according to Fire Officer 3 Elie Al Eudela of Dao Municipal Fire Station.
