BACOLOD City – An estimated P407,603 worth of suspected shabu was seized and 20 persons were arrested in series of buy-bust operations here and in Negros Occidental from April 30 to May 7, 2021.
The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) has confiscated P263,900 worth of suspected shabu, while the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) recovered P143,703 worth of the said contraband.
In Bacolod, nine persons were arrested in the past seven days, while 11 individuals were apprehended in the province covering the said period.
The drug bust operations were conducted in Barangays Vista Alegre, Mansilingan, Bata, Villamonte, 10, and 27.
The operations were conducted by operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), and Police Stations 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7.
Nocppo carried out buy-bust operations in the cities of Silay, Cadiz, Victorias, Talisay, Himamaylan, Escalante, Sagay, and the town of La Castellana.
