Two legends will be returning to action in a highly-anticipated matchup on September 11, 2021.
Boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) ex-world title holder Vitor Belfort confirmed that they will be having an exhibition fight in Las Vegas.
Belfort will try to cross De La Hoya’s comfort zone and tangle with each other in the boxing ring where the American dominated for almost a decade and a half.
Meanwhile, Belfort was also remembered as one of the most aggressive strikers in the history of Mixed Martial Arts.
The Brazilian UFC champion competed in the Heavyweight and Middleweight divisions and was a nightmare for his opponents.
This will be the first time that Belfort will be setting foot in the boxing ring against a former professional in the sport.
Meanwhile, De La Hoya was one of the most decorated fighters ever after clinching 11 world titles in six different weight classes.
