Abu Dhabi is set for a historic night for Original Pilipino Music as Ely Buendia, Chito Miranda, and Arnel Pineda perform together for the first time at the Etihad Arena on Jan. 10, 2025.
The concert promises a high-energy celebration of music and legacy by three icons who have shaped the Filipino rock scene.
Fans can expect a powerful showcase of each artist’s most beloved anthems, along with surprises tailored for longtime OPM listeners.
Ely Buendia, frontman and principal songwriter of the Eraserheads, helped propel Pinoy alternative rock to commercial and artistic heights throughout the 1990s.
Buendia later built a prolific solo career, with his 2024 album Method Adaptor earning Album of the Year at the New Hue Video Music Awards and Favorite Album of the Year at the 38th Awit Awards.
He recently joined a San Diego Comic-Con panel for Eraserheads: Combo on the Run, the first Filipino film featured at the event, set for global theatrical release in February 2026.
Chito Miranda of Parokya ni Edgar is celebrated for blending humor, wit, emotion, and originality into one of the country’s most enduring music catalogs.
With hits such as “Harana,” “Your Song,” “Pangarap Lang Kita,” “Halaga,” and “Inuvman Na,” the band has created songs that resonate deeply with Filipino audiences.
PNE’s mix of rock, novelty, and Pinoy storytelling reflects the creative ingenuity that has sustained the band’s decades-long success.
Arnel Pineda, the powerhouse vocalist who revitalized global rock group Journey, remains one of the Philippines’ biggest international success stories.
Since joining the multi-platinum band, he has captivated fans with dynamic performances, contributing to more than USD 35 million in sales during his debut tour.
His career highlights include the Super Bowl XLIII pregame show and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The OPM Legends concert brings together three influential artists whose impact transcends eras, genres, and borders.
The show is presented by Live Nation, DVent Productions, and Tiana Entertainment to showcase world-class Filipino talent on one of the region’s premier stages.
Concert veterans Rhiza Pascua and Bojie Yangco, along with filmmaker and producer Diane Ventura, conceptualized the event to unite some of the Philippines’ top rock legends on an international platform.
Tickets are available through Live Nation Middle East or Ticketmaster.
