ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A lady is in jail after she was arrested in a drug sting operation Monday evening at Brgy. Cagay here.
The Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) arrested Sorabel Aporta, 40, of Sitio Plaridel Cagay village.
Recovered from Aporta were 25 sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, P5,000 boodle or fake money, a cellphone, three wallets and P496 personal cash.
The suspect is presently detained at the Roxas City Police Station while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) were filed against here.
The suspect was arrested for the same offense and was released in jail after he avail of plea bargaining agreement. She returned back to her illegal operations recently.
It was learned that the suspect was engaged in an online selling on commercial products such as alcohol.
