ROXAS CITY, Capiz – An online seller was arrested Saturday evening in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDET) of Mambusao Municipal Police Station and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) in Barangay Bula, Mambusao, Capiz.
Police identified the suspect as Mechu Go, 44, of Barangay Poblacion Tabuc, Mambusao. She is an alleged Street Level Individual (SLI) on the drugs watchlist of the police.
Recovered from Go were 3 sachets of suspected shabu valued at P40,000, the P500 marked money, P2,500 personal cash, and a cellphone.
On Friday last week, a couple was arrested in another drug buy-bust operation at Barangay San Julian, Tapaz, Capiz.
The suspects are Marjorie Palomar, 32, and her live-in partner Rommel Gallaza, 39, both of said place.
Recovered from them were 7 sachets of suspected shabu, P500 marked money, and a cellphone.
The suspects will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
