BACOLOD CITY – A one-year-old girl died Sunday after drowning in a river near her home in Barangay Suba, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Police Major Ronald Santillan, the town’s police chief, said the child’s mother was busy with household chores and did not notice her daughter had left the house.
It was only after several minutes that she realized her child was missing.
