ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A murder suspect and the No. 4 most wanted person in San Miguel, Iloilo was arrested Sunday by Pontevedra Municipal Police Station and San Miguel Municipal Police Station at Barangay Rizal, Pontevedra, Capiz.
Jun Benotopa, 30, of Brgy. Rizal Pontevedra did not resist when the police served the warrant for his arrest.
The warrant was issued by Iloilo Regional Trial Court Judge Victorino Oliveros Maniba Jr. on July 16, 2020.
No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.
Meanwhile, a man wanted for frustrated homicide was also collared by police Saturday morning at Brgy. Ambilay, Panitan, Capiz.
Juan Desales, 32, was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Roxas City RTC Branch 16 Judge Delano F. Villaruz on Sept 26, 2020.
The court recommended P24,000 bail for his temporary liberty.
