One killed, another hurt in motorcycle mishap

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — One person died while another was injured after their motorcycle ran into a stray dog evening of Aug 3, 2019 in President Roxas, Capiz.

Police identified the victim as Luzviminda Dais, 40, who died of fatal injuries in different parts of her body.

Motorcycle driver Roberto Bantaculo, 71, survived despite suffering multiple injuries. The victims are residents of Barangay Cabungahan, Maayon.

Investigation conducted by the President Roxas police indicated that the two were on their way home when the motorcycle ran over a dog that suddenly crossed the road.

Bantaculo lost control of the motorcycle which crashed down the road.

Dais was declared dead at a hospital.
