ROXAS CITY, Capiz – An auto mechanic died while his back rider and driver of another motorcycle were wounded when their bikes collided Saturday evening at Brgy. Cagay here.
Police identified the fatality and driver of a Honda Click as Neelvine Albaladejo, 28, of Brgy. Lawaan, while his back rider, Angela Borreros, 19, of Brgy. Bolo here was injured.
Investigation by Corporal Ben Angelo Celino, traffic investigator of Roxas City PNP, indicated that the driver of Yamaha R3 identified as Paul Ivan Benemili, 29, of Malipayon Village, Brgy. Tiza, Roxas City was on his way to Cagay around 11:55 pm when he accidentally crashed with Albaladejo’s bike.
The three were immediately taken to the nearest hospitals but Albaladejo was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Borreros and Benemili are presently confined in the hospitals here.
The investigation also indicated that Albaladejo tried to evade a pothole on the road that led to the collision.
