BACOLOD City – A man died while his companion was injured after they figured in a road accident at Hacienda Balabag, Barangay Dos Hermanas, Talisay City, Negros Occidental Sunday.
Police identified the fatality as Ronnie Pastor, 39, of the said village. His companion Christopher Gustilo, 25, also of the said barangay was wounded.
Police Lieutenant Peter John Ramos, deputy police chief of Talisay City Police Station, said the two victims were allegedly speeding on their way home when Pastor lost control of his motorcycle.
Both victims were thrown off the motorbike.
Pastor succumbed to head injuries while Gustilo suffered minor injuries.
Ramos said both victims were reportedly drunk and were not wearing helmets.
“Siguro nag inom-inom sila asta nga hubog na nag puli, wala namanage ang motor, natumba sila, dulom pa na da na area,” he added.
