ROXAS CITY, Capiz— “Dapat nga magpabakuna ang tanan ilabi na ang mga katigulangan para may yara sila sang proteksyon batok sa COVID-19.”
Carolina Badana, 108, of Brgy. Yatingan, Pontevedra, Capiz made this call to fellow senior citizens to get vaccinated against COVID-19 when she was recognized as the oldest living lady of Capiz on September 21, 2021.
Governor Esteban Nonoy Bacero Contreras personally handed to Badana a certificate of recognition attesting that she is the oldest living woman in the province.
Badana is also the oldest person in Capiz that has been vaccinated against coronavirus disease.
She received Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.
She also received a wheelchair, umbrella, jacket, face mask, alcohol, vitamins, ascorbic acid, jerry can hygiene kit, food packs, t-shirt/polo shirt, and cash incentive.
The governor thanked Badana for supporting the vaccination program of the province.
