NutriAsia has completed a major digital transformation project by migrating its core SAP system to the cloud using RISE with SAP, in partnership with ICT solutions provider delaware Philippines.
The move marks one of the most significant technology upgrades in the company’s history, aimed at boosting scalability, reliability, and analytics capabilities to support future growth.
As one of the Philippines’ fastest-growing fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies, NutriAsia operates across more than 100 markets through direct operations and distributor partnerships.
The migration shifted NutriAsia’s SAP ERP Central Component, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence suite, and SAP Data Services to Microsoft Azure, modernizing its enterprise systems and enhancing infrastructure sustainability.
NutriAsia President and COO Angie Flaminiano said the initiative was a pivotal moment for the company’s long-term growth strategy.
“This project was a key step in our ongoing journey towards digital transformation and sustainable growth,” Flaminiano said. “By migrating our SAP ECC system to the cloud through RISE with SAP and leveraging Azure, we’ve established a more scalable and resilient infrastructure for NutriAsia’s operations.”
NutriAsia Information Technology and Digital Transformation Group Head Vergel Villacorta said the migration had solidified the company’s competitive edge.
“This migration was a cornerstone of our digital transformation, enhancing NutriAsia’s infrastructure with cloud capabilities,” Villacorta said. “Through this transition, we improved system accessibility, maintained seamless reporting capabilities, and laid the foundation for scalability of our enterprise analytics.”
Delaware Philippines acted as the system integration partner, overseeing strategic planning, system architecture design, and execution while safeguarding NutriAsia’s existing processes and reporting functions.
The company also implemented rigorous validation procedures and provided comprehensive training to ensure a smooth transition for NutriAsia’s teams.
Rosette Carrao, Partner and Managing Director of delaware Philippines, said the collaboration demonstrated the strength of both organizations’ shared commitment to innovation.
“Our combined efforts have enabled a successful migration to a cloud-based infrastructure, laying the foundation for operational excellence and paving the way for future innovation,” Carrao said.
Delaware Philippines Senior Vice President for Customer Success Simone Pigason added that the project reinforced the firm’s focus on delivering sector-specific solutions.
“This partnership marked a significant milestone in NutriAsia’s digital transformation journey, and we are proud to have been chosen as their system integrator for this cloud migration,” Pigason said.
