UAAP Juniors’ number one ranked high school player showed that he is not only a beast on the hardwood but off the court as well.
National University’s star center, Kevin Quiambao, decided to prepare food packs for Muntinlupa’s frontliners together with his close friends and family.
The 19-year-old basketball sensation handed out 150 packed meals containing pork ribs, boiled egg, and rice to military frontliners, barangay officials, and community volunteers in Barangay Bayanan, Muntinlupa.
As a part of the Gilas pool and having the honor to represent the country in various international stints, Quiambao thinks it is also part of his duty to give back.
“Sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam na nagagawa mo ‘yung part mo bilang isang Pilipino dahil isa ako sa ginawang instrumento ni Lord para makatulong kahit papaano,” Quiambao said.
A member of the UAAP Season 82 Boys’ Basketball Mythical Team in the juniors’ division, Quiambao is currently finding ways to improve his game amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
