BACOLOD City – New cases of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) here continue to go down in the last several days.
The city logged 30 new cases on August 2, 2021, down from 57 cases on August 1.
On July 31, new cases totaled 32.
The last highest number of cases recorded in a day was on July 17,2021 with 117.
According to the City Emergency Operations Center, the recovery rate of the city reached 89.75 percent, as of July 28.
Records also showed that of the 15,198 individuals who tested positive for COVID, 13,641 have already recuperated.
